This was a generic movie with no emotional stakes and Thomas Mann brings no depth whatsoever to the central character which brings this down. The direction and story seems to be checking boxes instead of telling a compelling story, the end is weirdly based on Lucy Fry's "instinct" (talk about lazy writing) and the movie wastes good supporting turn of Jessica Rothe. The biggest problem this has is the reason for Mann's character move towards being the drug mule, whatever comes after also fails to register an impact.

Yeah I pretty much had the same thoughts on it as you. I think I gave it a C. I normally really like Thomas Mann and he's the reason I wanted to see it. I thought he was fine here but the movie itself is pretty weak.
