This was surprisingly very solid entry balancing vampire thrills with social allegory of an aging artist. For such a short film it has a lot to handle but its works overall thanks to Erik C. Bloomquist's direction and script. The vampire proceedings are also done well and low budget works in its favor here. This is not an instant classic like Evil Dead but if you liked that movie then you will definitely enjoy this.

There's definitely an audience out there for this kind of flick, but unfortunately I wasn't one of them. It's stylish and well directed, but it was just a little too weird for me and I didn't find the payoff at the end all that satisfying either. Caroline Williams and Nicholas Tucci really made it worth watching though, especially Caroline Williams who I thought was flat out great in this.
