 The Karate Kid, Part III The Karate Kid, Part III Quote: The Karate Kid, Part III is a 1989 martial arts film, and the second sequel to the hit motion picture The Karate Kid (1984). The film stars Ralph Macchio, Noriyuki "Pat" Morita, Thomas Ian Griffith, Robyn Lively, and Martin Kove. Like the first two films, it was directed by John G. Avildsen and written by Robert Mark Kamen. Also like the first two films, its stunts were choreographed by Pat E. Johnson, and its music was composed by Bill Conti.

Haha, one of those movies that's so bad that it's awesome. It features the best rich bad guy ever put to celluloid in Terry Silver. He has the best evil laugh ever "HAH HAH HAH HAH!" Daniel went back to being a whiny wuss for some reason in this one, and gets his ass kicked repeatedly throughout the film. Classic bad cinema at it's finest.

Re: The Karate Kid, Part III This is bad movie for Karate Kid's standards that fails to even justify its existence and pushes back its a actors to one dimensional characters that never deep to begin with. Terry Silver is so bad but he is having fun with his character, I just do not why he would go to such extreme lengths to take the revenge. The music in this one is so generic, a big letdown from the last two movies.

Re: The Karate Kid, Part III I think I prefer this one to 2, which is way too sappy and unfunny at times, and the fighting is weak. This one has not 1 but 3 classic 80s macho douchebag villains. This one has a little more rewatch value, but both sequels are pretty rough.
