I went into this with such low expecatations going by the IMDB scores and while I didn't hate it I was still pretty dissapoitned in it, because this concept definitely had potential. The kids were actually okay for the most part and I thought the creature itself was cool and very creepy looking, but they never take advantage of the R-rating when it comes to the gore and the whole finale was just lame and super underwhelming IMO.

The flashback/narration scenes were pretty awful as well in how awkward the execution was and while the underground tunnel location is well utlized and atmoespheric enough they still could have done so much more with it.
