Needed more focus at times and better budget. The racing scenes are really good though not as thrilling or clean visually. It tries to push Bennett's love for the game which it never earns. The family angle while hinted is never explored enough to make a difference. There is also not emotional depth to the movie. For the racing scenes alone I would give this a solid C+
