It's a low budget, hokey B movie version of Battle Los Angeles and if that already doesn't sound appealing to you than you likely won't enjoy it. I honestly didn't think it was nearly as bad as the IMDB rating suggests it is, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a good movie either. I did like some of the characters such as Richard Grieco and Robert Lasardo being hammy, over the top Robert Lasardo which is always entertaining and I really liked the design and practical look of the aliens, but the majority of the acting is pretty poor across the board and the digital effects are pretty much bottom of the barrel Asylum movie effects.

I really did enjoy the third act of this movie though.

As much as I like movies like Battle Los Angeles this one didn't do anything for me. There are lots of cheap sci-fi movies but this was atrocious to bear. There were no character arcs, people just do things because script demands it. The creatures design and costumes were also pretty bad, they were mostly used as prop in their own invasion movie.

The best thing about this movie is its poster lol.
