Inside Moves is a 1980 American drama film directed by Richard Donner. The film is based on the book of the same name by Todd Walton, with a script by then writing duo Valerie Curtin and Barry Levinson.
Decent drama, I got interested to watch this because of the connection to basketball, but this connection appears actually very limited. It's very different than any other Donner film I've seen as well and it's a bit dull actually. In some way it reminded me of On The Waterfront, just a story of a guy slugging through life.
