Soderbergh adds his usual flair to the movie but there is just not enough meat in the actual story. The message is good and all the actors are all great but there are just too many long unnecessary steps. The script needed more focus and less flash. Somehow I didn't love Streep in here, possibly first time in last 10 years.

Post Re: The Laundromat
It's a good film, aptly directed by Soderbergh and the cast is nice too. But it feels restrained as well, the story is of interest, but it never feels like anything special or really important. Like I, and maybe we all, know this stuff with, let's say legal money laundering and tax avoidance takes place, so it's nice to get a bit of look behind the scenes there. The intro of how it finds us in our daily life is a good angle to start, but it doesn't really keep that up and ultimately it isn't neither that entertaining or memorable.
