I really enjoyed this. The humor with the phone didn't always work for me but Adam Devine was charming and the romance was cute. Cute is the word I'd use to describe the movie. Doesn't deserve reviews as bad as they are. I will say Michael Pena was embarrassingly bad though.

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

If only Ferris Bueller could’ve predicted cell phones...because phones!!! I have my head in my phone right now!!!!

This could’ve been something special if it was in smarter hands or given a sharp re-write. As is, it has enough laughs to make for a nice Redbox rental or a trip to the theater* if you have Regal Unlimited/A-List.

*Though maybe not worth two trips to the theater. I tried to see this originally a few hours ago, but the fire alarm went off at my local theater fifteen minutes in closing the theater until at least tonight. This has happened at the same theater twice in the last four weeks (that I know of at least). Three hours and thirty miles later (though closer to home) I was finally able to see it in full.

I'm also pretty baffled by the overwhelming negative reviews. It isn't great cinema by any means but is incredibly fun and cute. Adam Devine walks away with it and it probably wouldn't have been as "good" with a different actor, he's so adorable and charismatic. As far as disposable romantic comedies go, this one is super decent.
