David Cross and Debra Messing (in a small role) are really good here. The movie works best when its just Cross going through the jungle exploring and dealing with grief and loss of his wife. When in the middle half more characters come in it looses focus into unneeded comedy or emotions for nature lovers that are just left unexplored. The cave scene was haunting and mesmerizing and possibly the best scene of the movie. The backdrop and score are amazing in here, if only this movie had a little more focus in the middle half and ended a little more emotional evolution of Cross's character this would have been possibly among the best movies of the year.
