This was fine. The acting is great and it’s never boring but there’s not nearly enough focus on his music for me. That’s what I would’ve been interested in moreso than his relationship with his wife.

Honestly one of the worst oscar movies I've ever seen. This movie isn't about a Maestro. It's about Bradley Cooper and how ridiculous of a performance he can give with no one around to tell him no.

1/10

it's well made but I didn't enjoy this at all. It's dull and hard to follow. C-

Pretty boring. I guess this is a movie about an intellectual, emotionally repressed couple who are giving as much a performance in their real life as in their profession, but that just makes them cold and hard to connect to, and much like virtually any movie that takes place over 50 years there just isn't enough time for the story especially in a movie that's going to go an extended music/dancing/etc. take at any time. This movie feels like Cooper is trying to impress art snobs.
