 Re: Rough Night
This was actually funnier than I thought it'd be. The trailers make the whole situation seem stupid but actually watching the movie it works a lot better and the whole cast is good. Kate McKinnon surprisingly was my favorite even though I've never been a huge fan.

 Re: Rough Night
I had a fun time with this. Laughed quite a bit. Kate McKinnon and Jillian Bell are pretty hilarious. It ends up being fairly forgettable but it's really enjoyable while it lasts.

 Re: Rough Night
It's bizarre but really enjoyable and has its fair share of hilarious scenes. I actually thought the Paul W. Downs subplot was the funniest part, he runs away with the movie. Kate McKinnon and Jillian Bell are also great and have quite a few laugh-out-loud moments. I agree that it ends up being a bit lightweight but I had fun with it. B

 Re: Rough Night
There are a lot of hilarious and talented women in Rough Night, and the final product ends up working because of the strength of their performances. This movie is basically the equivalent of putting Bridesmaids, The Hangover and Weekend at Bernie's in a blender, but I really enjoyed it. All five of the main ladies get moments to shine; ScarJo is an effective anchor, though Kate McKinnon and Jillian Bell have most of the best lines. I also enjoyed the subplot with Paul W. Downs "sad astronauting" it to Florida more than I would've thought. Is it a great comedy? No, it's not. But it's worth paying for a ticket. B

 Re: Rough Night
It's a neat film, has some very funny bits, but is also not without it's cliched moments. With a bit more of a tone down on the ridiculousness and a shorter run time I would have appreciated it more. But it's good nonetheless, lovely female cast, everyone has their right punch to the role, Johansson is great as the central figure and McKinnon plays a fun Aussie too. All the husband scenes were quite hilarious. It's got some nice beats and is a pleasant comedy.

 Re: Rough Night
Yeah this wasn't that bad. There were definitely quite a few funny moments, but what really makes it work is that this ensemble, female cast actually has good chemistry. Kate McKinnon didn't even annoy me this time around, and probably had some of the funniest scenes outside of the stuff with the husbands lol.

 Re: Rough Night
Much funnier than the 'Very Bad Things with girls" movie the ads were selling. No wonder it bombed! Most of the twists are easy to see coming, but they keep the story moving at a smooth pace. My favorite bits were the beach and the two gas station scenes.

 Re: Rough Night
Some good elements (Kate McKinnon), but it doesn’t add up to much that’s funny.
