Quite liked it, wish it got a few acting noms. Anders Danielsen Lie even deserves to win Best Supporting Actor, his scenes in the last act were fantastic.

I'm surprised by how many reviews are calling this film was romantic or a Rom Com... huh? Besides maybe a few scenes in the first half it didn't feel paritcular romantic at all.

The Worst Person In The World would never think of themselves that way, they would think of themseves as the Best Person in the World (some people are saying this, not me, but some people, smart people - they love me.)

So that's a good starting thought for this movie about a very attractive woman who just cannot settle on a life. She hurts a few people along the way, but nothing too horrible. It kinda just felt like riding through the milennial experience, which is something I do pretty much every single day. I think they captured it quite accurately.

It is funny then sad then funny again then sad again, just as life is. A fascinating watch that doesn't force its themes down your throat (we like our themes flacid) and just lets you walk in this person's shoes for a pair of hours.

This is an incredibly beautiful film. Renate Reinsve gives my favorite performance of the year and I absolutely cannot wait to see what she does next. I even watched a short film she did that was on YouTube because I can't get enough. It's honestly heartbreaking she wasn't nominated at the Oscars. I really feel like NEON botched the release of this because if enough people had seen it I can't see her missing even in a crowded category. Pretty much everyone who sees the film loves her. This deserved way more nominations. Not only her but it should have been in Best Picture and Anders Danielsen Lie should have gotten nominated for Best Supporting Actor. He's incredible and moved me to tears.

I'm glad I was able to see this in a theater but I'm disappointed Batman came and pushed it out of most theaters after a week because I would go again and again. I'm hoping it upsets at the Oscars and wins one or two of the ones it's nominated for and expands again.

The Worst Person in the World is a special movie. I'm in love with it. It will forever sadden me that it didn't get more love at the Oscars. At the very least Renate should have been nominated. It's an instant classic.

Yeah it's definitely being mislabeled. A friend of mine watched it today and messaged me with a pic of it being categorized as a comedy and she was like, "This was supposed to be a comedy? But it's so sad."

Even the trailer had a quote calling it a romantic comedy. I don't think it's that at all. It's a dramedy. Any movie that makes me sob like this isn't a comedy :mer:. It certainly has humorous parts though.
