Nicole Kidman is excellent as usual. Doesn't really push the envelope in terms of raunchiness but I liked the film overall.

Better than I expected. I thought it was directed and edited well by Halina Reijn and I appreciated the restraint in the plot that instead of some big "I'm not just going to be ignored type" dangerous turn, the 3rd act is pretty low key mostly focusing on the dynamics of the three main characters with a climax that almost could've been in a play. Also compared to how someone like Emerald Fennell would have directed this to make social commentary heavily biased towards one side like woman over men or intern over boss, it allows both characters to use power on the other and be freaks. Kidman has her best performance in a while and Dickinson has the right type of crazy person bubbling under the surface energy, and it understands the humor in him ordering her around and even they know it's kind of ridiculous, the movie overall is lighter than it could've been.

It's Unfaithful but dragged down by a bunch of half-assed ideas about power dynamics. Drop the baityness and the movie could be a sexy drama about marriage and whatnot, much like Unfaithful was. As is, its pretty much a waste of time. Even the sex scenes are overly silly.

4.5/10. I really wanted to give a 6.9 but just didn't cum close.
