I just started the show on Netflix a few days ago. It's surprisingly hilarious, basically American Pie: The Series.

Good to know you like Doc!
Rise of Thadland is OK, though it never reaches the highs of the show. Well the characters do, but that's another matter entirely. I was hoping this would be the condensed season 4 we never got, but it's more of an extended "Christmas Party" type of episode. They got the college elements right, but the football elements were just not there. Coach is basically an extended cameo. Because of this, the 2nd act really drags.
We do get some closure on the two key relationships. So that, along with a solid 1st and 3rd act, makes this a worthy part of the BMS Goats franchise.

I am in the middle of season 2 now, but I also read that there is no football in the film and that is kinda wrong. Football was just as much the essence of the series as its outrageousness.

Alex gets a mini-arc revolving around his leadership abilities, but that's about it. There's a reason Thad is the only one on the poster. Season 2 is my favorite.
