I'm so glad Spotlight managed to get in for Best Picture and Best Edting! My favourite film of last year. I nominated it in far more categories than that, but I was certainly worried it would miss out. I encourage anyone who hasn't seen it, to go see it!
I'm sad The Big Short missed out on Best Picture
Happy for the Inside Out and Mad Max love!
Peace, Mike

For Your Consideration- Most Overlooked
"A sombre but thought-provoking finale to one of the most consistently gripping and intellectual franchises of recent years." Rob Carnevale, Indie London "Katniss is a Joan of Arc for a generation of reluctant warriors, and "Mockingjay - Part 2" is a war movie for those distrustful of any and all leaders, especially the ones trying to sell you on a future."- Ty Burr, Boston Globe "One of the smartest and most enthralling SF film series ever breaks more new ground as it ends on notes as emotional and provocative as they are explosive."- MaryAnn Johannson, Flick Filosopher

Putting critics quotes to back up your choice is so lame.

You can only vote if you have seen it, which shows he was honest when sending his list. Others should take note.

Re: 12th WOKJ MP Awards - Nominations announced!
Just realized that Carol missed the actress nomination for Carol but the other lesbian partner got in.
Also surprised that Vikander missed the nomination for The Danish Girl, guess many didn't see that movie but it is really one of the best performances this year. Its also one of the key reasons that I put her high on the breakout performances list. Speaking of breakout performances no Jacob Tremblay??

The voting is open now. There has been a change in the voting for MOST OVERLOOKED FILM. You now have to pick three movies and rank them. There will still be one winner. That is based on my experience from previews years, when sometimes the votes were so all over the place that the a film could win with 3-4 votes. I hope this will improve the situation. Those who have already sent their ballots and could not wait until I actually open the voting, please resent it, adjusting to the aforementioned new rule. Thanks.

Lecter always screws up the segue from the nominations to the opening of voting , which should be nearly instantaneous.
