Cyborg 2: Glass Shadow

Well of course it's absolute trite. Angelina Jolie said that she was sick after she saw it, and it's no wonder because as well as the film being a God-awful piece of shit, her performance was worse! I'd have more sympathy for her starring in a bad movie if she was good in it, but she has no idea what's going on. Elias Koteas basically fills in for Van Damme this time around (though much more of a pussy), but the film is so, so, so, so, so much worse on all levels. How a director can serve this up and be proud, I will never know. This has got to be the biggest drop off in quality from the first to second movie in any franchise ever. Jolie shows her lovely breasts during a sex scene, and is generally pretty hot in the movie, but it's hard to think of her that way knowing what she'll look like later. I don't know what Jack Palance is doing in this film.

I felt like they were trying to capitalise on the Terminator's fame. Jolie's name in it is Casella Reece, and the opening titles is a walk-through of a production line while a cyborg is manufactured. It all feels ten times as cheap.
