A jumbled, incoherent mess that has no idea what it wants to be despite strong performances from Vincent Piazza and Patricia Arquette. At one point it seems like it's going in the route of a black comedy but then things turn gravely serious and ultimately tragic with no real logical progression. The story also isn't that interesting and confusingly told and the main characters are despicable. I left this movie feeling nothing. It feels like a wannabe Martin Scorsese film above all else (which is appropriate I guess since he exec produced - no idea why). C-
