Police Story Part II
A very good follow-up to the amazing original. This concentrates more on police methods, investigation, tracking suspects etc., and the action (and stunts) take a backseat. There are still fights, but until the ending there are maybe only three fight scenes in 110 minutes. That doesn't mean that it isn't exciting. It's still a great film, and the stunts do come. I guess the first film just sets the bar very high that it's difficult to top it so easily.
The fireworks factory ending is great, though I remembered it being better than it was. Maggie Cheung is absolutely fucking gorgeous here, just as she was in the first.
