This film is the Danish werewolf-stepbrother to the Swedish Let the Right One In vampire-masterpiece. Not as good as the latter in almost every aspect, but still pretty damn solid in all of them. The leading girl delivers a strong performance, Lars Mikkelsen's father lends strong support and the director sets an atmosphere of dread and heavy foreshadowing. It doesn't have the emotional impact that let the Right One In had and its simply not as masterful as far as the acting or the direction are concerned, but this might very well be the best werewolf-flick since Ginger Snaps and deserves to reach a wider audience.
