 Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon Quote: Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon is a 2013 American documentary film about talent manager Shep Gordon, directed by Mike Myers. The film is the account of Gordon's career and the outgrowth of a friendship between Myers and Gordon that began in 1991 when Myers was seeking to use a song by Alice Cooper (one of Gordon's earliest clients) in the 1992 film Wayne's World.
The film was screened in the Gala Presentation section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. It won the audience award for best documentary at the 2014 Sarasota Film Festival, and also screened at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. It is scheduled for theatrical release on June 6, 2014.

Re: Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon Always a sucker for biopics, I knew I had to catch Supermensch: The Legend Of Shep Gordon and I wasn't disappointed. It is a well done documentary that circles it's subject through the people he's worked with, drawing a picture of a complex person who had remained behind the curtains of the pop culture of the past 50 years.
Also, it's good to see Mike Meyers working again, even if it is only in the role of director here - - bring on some more comedy performances, man!
