Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past If you watch X2 with an eye on the Mystique/Xavier relationship, you can basically feel a past-relationship. It's not obvious, and requires you to add what you know from Days of Future Past, but I think it is present.

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past No, it's just less enjoyable than the others for me. That said, I'm not a big X-Men fan at all. They all comfortably sit in the B-range (except for DOFP).

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past So, there is pretty much a consensus here that X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men: The Last Stand and The Wolverine represent the worst of the franchise, whereas X-Men: Days of Future Past and X2 represent the best.

I enjoyed DOFP. Probably the best of the franchise. XM/X2 don't hold up at all. XMFC is overrated. Wolverine is meh. Didn't see XMOW.
And I liked The Last Stand. It's cool. Yeah.

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past So, I really enjoyed DOFP, was a blast for me, A material.
Just noticed something that's bugging me now, from a film making standpoint.
In DOFP Mystique "breaks" into Trasks office to get some confidential data --- the exact scene happened in X2 when Mystique "broke" into Stryker's office to get some confidential data.
That's some pretty weak movie making for me...not sure if that's on Singer, or one one of the writers copycatting..
