I'm a sucker for inspirational sports movies but this one doesn't stand out. It's hard to believe this was supposedly the highest testing movie in Disney history (or whatever early reports claimed), since the end product is thoroughly unremarkable. Good performances by the whole cast, especially Jon Hamm in the lead, and it's overall a pleasant watch. Doesn't mean you'll remember it 2 weeks later. C+

I was in line for Indiana Jones at Disneyland the week before it came out and this guy was wearing a shirt with the logo on it and telling everyone around him how awesome the movie was and he was plugging it in every conversation he had with strangers. I think he was getting paid or something lol

The movie is disappointing. It's not bad but it's a underbaked when it comes to characters, some more development from the boys would have been nice as they aren't three dimensional here. For a 2 hour+ movie it didn't have enough for a great movie.

LOL to be honest the way he talked about it (one of the things he said was that it was really funny... which it wasn't) made me want to watch it more than I did initially, in addition to the "test audience" rumors.

It's exactly what it looked like, which was fine by me.
