Yeah. There will be a third, anyway, Evans said.

Awesome! They'll need to up the ante, which I am sceptical they can get right. But we'll see.

Most of all, they need to do it different. The second film worked because it was very different from the first. Maybe change the location.

Agreed. It just needs to be more colourful with changes of location. I found the first two very drab and grey. It worked for those films, but a third should make a detour and differentiate from the first two with the use of colour. I guess it has to be made in Indonesia. But if they made it perhaps near the water, that would add something noticeably different. The martials arts is rather restrictive. There's not really much you can do to change that.

Maybe they could make it somewhere other than Indonesia.

Nowhere in the surrounding countries is THAT different in appearance. It would need to be the US or Europe. Which just won't happen because of the inflated costs. And the story just wouldn't make much sense. I think it will be Indonesia. There is still one big crime family left to remove, so I guess Rama will focus on them. There is potential for some awesome aerial stunts, perhaps off of skyscrapers. Stuff like that would be cool.

Could go to Australia.

I'd like a 90-100 minute flick for a change. Less story, more amazing breakneck-paced action.

Yeah, I thought of Australia. I still think the costs would be too high, and how could they possibly make that work story wise? It would make it more accessible as a film, though, since they'd need to use tons more English. But I just don't see it working.

What do you think of Patrick Hughes directing the remake?

I'm not too excited based on the only film I've seen of his; The Expendables 3. But with that film, I know that Stallone and others have a lot more input. Perhaps when on his own, he adds more to a production, he may do it justice. I haven't seen Red Hill. But either way, I just don't think a remake should be made. I feel the same as I do about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
