I would never imagine that I would label a film about the making of an amateur porno to be delightful, but it's just that. The cast is fantastic in their roles. No award-winning performances, but everyone is great here. The story is ludicrous but a lot of fun. And it often winks at the camera, up to the "twist" of an ending.

I'm surprised this never reached a mainstream audience, though I guess the subject matter denied it the pleasure. It also looks really cheap, sadly, like a TV movie, but that doesn't take away the fun. TV movies can be great too.

I can't really criticize much. I laughed a lot, I smiled through the majority of it, it never gets bogged down in drama and it's always moving. Can't ask for much more. And it features Jeff Bridges on the cusp of becoming a mainstream name again. It stands beside Boogie Nights and Zack and Miri Make a Porno as standout films about the behind the scenes of porn, even if this is very much a naive, almost cleaned-up look.
