Monroe, who directed its predecessor, I Spit on Your Grave, which was, in turn, based on Meir Zarchi's 1978 film of the same name. The only connections between this sequel and its predecessors are the title and the basic storyline of a young woman who is brutally gang-raped, tortured, and abused until the point where she escapes and exacts revenge on her attackers.

I Spit on Your Grave 2
Man-torture Porn: The Sequel. This didn't seem as hard-hitting as the first remake. The first half is kind of crappy, with an obvious "twist". I am not sure I buy the fact that they transported a human being across the Atlantic Ocean without being noticed, but whatever. The second half is much more fun, though. But a little disappointing. I wanted her to have killed the blonde lady and finished off the other two. In fact, why'd that cop have to be there at all?! He kind of ruins it. But I suppose it's fitting that a female doesn't finish her work.
So, what did I learn from this film? Well, I learned that when two Bulgarians are together, they talk in English to each other.
