Re: Man of Steel
At the time he broke Zod's neck, he had been Superman for all of a few days. Its mistakes like killing Zod that make him become the Superman that finds another way. Nobody starts out like an all-knowing, all-powerful righteous bore.

Re: Man of Steel
Algren is right. It's pretty evident what happened there. And kind of a great moment.
This is the last film in the DCU that needs defending. But at the same time, I wouldn't have mind a JL movie with Routh and Reynolds and newcomers.
MOS A- SS B WW B BVS C JL NA Can't will myself to see it.

Once again, Wonder Woman stands underrated

Darth Indiana Bond wrote: Once again, Wonder Woman stands underrated It's underrated because that finale is so bad. That it reminds me a lot of the Wolverine. And the movie itself is a pick n' play of Marvel and Fox films. Maybe it's jaded, but I can't get behind a film that steals moments from so many movies to be better. And The Wolverine told an original story. WW has great acting. Also that pothole is ridiculous. She did nothing from WW1 to BVS. Also I know nothing about the comics, but does she not age?

Re: Man of Steel
Did the immortality only begin when she hit adulthood? because she used to be a child. Same goes for Superman. What's the deal with that?

Re: Man of Steel
Superman is not immortal. For Wonder Woman, Gods still age, albeit much slower

Re: Man of Steel
I recently decided to binge all of DCEU and MoS stays the best film of the lot (though that's not saying much). There are so many great things here but then there are equally poor directional choices. Its still a great watch for some of the action scenes but the ending and action gets tiresome at times. The music keeps it alive at times but the side actors are really bad.

Re: Man of Steel
The first half of this movie is decent, though a little lifeless as it sets up the characters and story. Once Zod comes to Earth in the second half it is pretty much a snooze fest.
