Not a great movie, but a good adaptation. It nails the tone, awkward though it might be. It also nailed the ending which is the only reason this book stuck with me so long. Very sad.

Unfortunately it takes the bad parts from Koontz's writing as well, such as piss poor motives for his villains. DAMN YOU SATANISTS.
