Terror in the Aisles
On the poster it says that it's one of the scariest films of all time and one of the claims is that it had people leaving the cinema because it's so scary. I cannot understand this because 1) if it did, it would have been more well known, and 2) it's just a You've Been Framed for horror movies - just showing clips of old horror movies, so they are out of context and there is zero suspense - how can that be scary??
Donald Pleasance does his best to narrate in a spooky and eerie manner, but he's not scary in any way. Perhaps they were hoping that people would think of Michael Myers as soon as they see him, and perhaps they did, but all I thought of was the stupid bald guy from The Great Escape.
I bought this because it had clips and passages from Nighthawks in it. Waste of money that was.
