It's half cringeworthy and half amusing. It's definitely not good but I was never bored. Too bad John Cusack and Lizzy Caplan couldn't come back.

They took the worst qualities of the characters in the first and put them on main display here. It just isn't that funny and way too juvenile for its own good. Adam Scott is the only good part of the main cast and his talent is quite wasted here.

I don't even really know what to say, aside from it's bad. The first one was funny enough, and likable, but this film is adding nothing new with worse jokes. They always think going bigger and more extreme will help a movie's cause, but often there's a lack of sense to make it work as a whole. Some of the jokes are funny in itself, but the story just doesn't make a connection. The characters are pretty much all so annoying there's nothing that keeps the movie interesting. I like Corddry, but he doesn't shine in this movie either. The movie is pretty stupid overall, similarly how I feel about Get Hard, but the Hot Tube Time Machine 2 does have a few better jokes, albeit isolated.

The first one was utterly dumb but really funny in parts if I remember it correctly (Martina Navratilova still gives me chuckles). This one is just straight bad. Like really really really bad. I guess you can get away once with a movie having "Hot Tub Time Machine" in the title. Twice is just overreaching it.
