Re: And So It Goes
I watched it because I really like the actors but this was so boring. I wish Diane Keaton would get a good, juicy role again someday instead of playing the same characters all of the time.

And So It Goes
Hilarious. I've not laughed so much during a film in ages. Michael Douglas is perfectly cast as the grumpy widower, and Diane Keaton is gorgeous as the tearful widow. I loved it. Terrific dialogue, which is no surprise as it's written by Mark Andrus (As Good As It Gets), especially from Oren and his elderly receptionist (or assistant, or whatever she is). It loses its footing a little towards the end but grabs it back for a nice close. Oren changes too quickly in the middle sequence from a grumpy and selfish grandpa to a loving and responsible one, but I can forgive that.
I pretty much just love Michael Douglas films. I've never seen a bad one.
