Mighty Aphrodite is a 1995 romantic comedy film written and directed by Woody Allen. The screenplay was inspired by the mythological tale of Pygmalion.
Allen co-stars with Mira Sorvino, who received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance.

I really liked it. Straddles the line well between caricature humor and dramedy. Has to be one of the few films where Woody is the straight man for large portions of it. Very, very well paced, edited and acted by the majors. Sorvino is of course the star but HBC has a hard role as the other woman that she does an excellent job of methinks. Not a knock your socks off movie but with enough humor, heart, good execution, solid A-
