Remember Jake Gyllenhaal and his friends getting attacked by wolves on a boat in the middle of New York City? Remember Dennis Quaid WALKING FROM D.C. TO NEW YORK IN A DAY IN THE MIDDLE OF AN APOCALYPTIC BLIZZARD? The wolves escaped from some zoo which is in NYC and I'm pretty sure they walked more than a day.

If ya have to even start justifying this stuff, or even questioning it in the first place - - the movie's already lost ya.

Re: The Day After Tomorrow
It's bad. Like, really bad. I give this film 3 points just for the FX, which is close to the max that only visuals can earn from me. It gets another .5 for the guy who plays the son (he's cute and gives a decent performance, which compared to the pathetic, wooden, and disgusting performances from all others, looks like magic) and another .5 for the scene where the main guy (don't care about his name either, it's too late to remember) almost falls through the window. Everything else is bad, like, really really bad. 4/10

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.
