Saint John of Las Vegas is a 2010 American comedy-drama film starring Steve Buscemi, Romany Malco, and Sarah Silverman.

The film, directed and written for the screen by Hue Rhodes (based on a story by Dante Alighieri) and produced by Steve Buscemi, Stanley Tucci, and Spike Lee, follows an ex-gambler as he takes a road trip with his new partner, an auto insurance fraud debunker, to investigate a fraud, while meeting a series of offbeat characters, including a carnival's human torch, a paraplegic stripper, and a nude militant, along the way.

The film was released upon many film festivals and was released in limited release on January 29, 2010.

Post Re: Saint John of Las Vegas
Saint John of Las Vegas is a bit of an oddball comedy that works more with its performers than its script. The film has some fairly cheesy and poorly written scenes as well as a plot that seems odd the entire way through. It's with the help though of Steve Buscemi and Sarah Silverman that the film can remain watchable. While the fraud story has its moments, Buscemi's gambling problem story along with his new relationship with Silverman is where the film goes best. Even with these parts working though the script can get very out of hand and a bit of a bore. If it wasn't for these two comedians, the film may have been one of the worst of the year. Though while they do bring watchabilty to the table, the comedians can't quite make this film a success, it falls just shy of the bar. **
