Re: Easy A
I love this film. This, Crazy Stupid Love and Zombieland easily make Emma Stone my favorite actress under the age of 30.

I don't get passion behind this. It's a cute sitcom, highly uneven but that mostly comes with the territory. Stone is good, there are some nice jokes, but it's certainly not anything genius or hilarious or special in any way.

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

Yeah, it's very funny, but just as unrealistic as those John Hughes movies it attempts to one-up. Even moreso, in fact, because it actually thinks it's down-to-earth and realistic.
But I laughed a lot. And Stanley Tucci, not Emma Stone, stole the movie.

Very good film. Emma Stone is just so fucking hot and smart and adorable and awesome. The film is really well written. It has a crisp, hip, modern script, even for the elders in the film, and it's really well conveyed by the likes of Lisa Kudrow, Thomas Hayden-Church and Stanley Tucci (her parents were totally fantastic parents that we'd all have loved to have). Well told story, and even a little romantic towards the end.
