Potiche really does carve out it's own special niche, not too mention that it is frequently laugh out loud funny.

{I was trying to imagine who would star in an American or British version of Potiche - - but I couldn't imagine the director capturing the effervescent tone of the original. The most recent film that got it was Hairspray.}
