I thought this was amazing. It reminded me a lot of Whiplash to be honest and was consistently unpredictable and intense. The performances were insane. Both Margaret Qualley and Melissa Leo should be in the Oscar conversation. Leo in particular is incredible. I also loved Dianna Agron who's heartbreaking here. Honestly everyone in the cast is great. And it's consistently engaging and raises some interesting questions about faith and feminism. I found it enrapturing and it will probably be on my year end best list. A
