They say the novel which the film is based is much better, but I loved this movie. I was thoroughly engaged in the performances and the story. The leads were all great.

I didn't think I'd love this movie so much since, for the most part, it got trashed by critics. Maybe it's more of a disappointment if you've read the book, which I now must do.
