I watched this again last night. It was my first time seeing it since seeing it in theaters back in 2002. I know a lot of people hated it, but I thought it was a solid, effectively creepy supernatural chiller. Not perfect, but it has really good atmosphere and is better than a lot of the supernatural movies that are released. The biggest flaw is that it answers absolutely no questions the viewer will have, which is why a lot of people hate it.
I wish they'd have made a sequel to this. They still should. Dimension made plenty of Direct-to-DVD horror sequels in the past, and Weinstein is doing the same. Why not make one to this?
