 Trial and Error Trial and Error Quote: Trial and Error is a 1997 release from New Line Cinema starring Michael Richards, Jeff Daniels, and Charlize Theron, about an attorney and the attorney's actor friend, who takes his place in court to defend the boss's hopelessly guilty relative. Comedic interplay and new romance ensues.

Re: Trial and Error Well, as luck would have it, I can't find my original review for Trial and Error so I'll just repeat what I said in the other thread where vaguely bad things were said about it:
Hey! Trial and Error was pretty darn good.
It featured a 22 year old future Academy Award winner by the name of Charlize Theron. And both Michael Richards and Jeff Daniels were on their comedy marks - - it's no all-time classic, but it is a very funny movie with a decent story...
(I believe I enjoyed it so much that I saw it twice in the theatre in it's first run.)
