A German attempt to imitate the likes of The Silence of the Lambs and Se7en, but ultimately falling short. It's just much harder to sympathize with/be fascinated by a pedophile killer, even though André Hennike plays him fairly well. The themes of the movie are fairly interesting as well as the main character's gradual development, but the ending is completely botched.
