Pretty subpar animation considering it came out last year (I didn't expect Pixar or Dreamworks quality, but even European/Japanese CGI that come out every now and then look better and I guess they have even smaller budgets). It's not particularly funny. The kangaroo was increasingly annoying. I didn't care for her motives, I didn't hate her like an antagonist should be hated and cheer for the protagonist. I was just annoyed by her.
I have fond memories of that old 2D cartoon. I might re-watch it now. Hopefully it's better than this.

6/10 sounds a bit too high considering the review. Not a single positive aspect pointed out, heh.
