 My Fair Lady
My Fair Lady Quote: My Fair Lady is a 1964 musical film adaptation of the Lerner and Loewe stage musical, of the same name, based on the 1938 film adaptation of the original stage play Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. The ballroom scene and the ending were taken from the previous film adaptation (1938) (Pygmalion), rather than from the original play. The film was directed by George Cukor and starred Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison.
The film won eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Director.

 Re: My Fair Lady
Very entertaining, and really Rex Harrington steals the show, however it was slow to start, and could have been something greater.

 Re: My Fair Lady
Too stagey and flat. It's not bad by any stretch, but there's no life here, no energy. They didn't open it up for the screen at all.
