I knew BloodRayne II was going to terrible, but I wasn't sure which level of terrible it would be - so bad that it was funny (like an Ed Wood flick), or just plain stinky and boring (like Million Dollar Baby).

The first one was all Ed Wood... over the top gore, terrible FX, horrendous dialogue, and craptacular acting - from a former Academy Award winner (Ben Kingsley) and the Terminator 3 girl. It was terrible, but so bad it was funny at times.

Unfortunately, B2 was just stinky and boring... lots of terrible dialogue and very little action/gore/sex. It doesn't even have a bunch of washed up stars... instead we get a bunch of no name ass clowns that looked like they were ripped from some community dinner theater in Nebraska.

Once you remove the craziness from a Uwe Boll film there is just nothing there. He even makes several attempts at "artistic" filming - like one 3 minute shot of Rayne walking from point A to point B that was shot through a tree. You can tell Uwe thinks he's being really cool, but it looks more like you gave a retarded monkey baby a video camera and told him to shoot a movie.

The real thing that pisses me off about these movies is that I really like the video games (BloodRayne 1 and 2), and the movies have little to do with the video games and bare little resemblance. However, Uwe has forever tarnished the series and pretty much destroyed any chance of another video game coming out in this series.
