 Pootie Tang Pootie Tang Quote: Pootie Tang is an American comedy film written and directed by Louis C.K. and released in 2001. It was adapted from a comedy sketch that first appeared on The Chris Rock Show. The character Pootie Tang is a satire of the stereotyped characters who appeared in old blaxploitation films. His speech, which vaguely resembles pidgin, is mostly unintelligible to the audience, but the other characters in the film have no problem understanding him. For me, it's in my top 20 all time WORST movies ever. Other than the part where the gorilla attacked Chris Rock (which was hilarious), this is by far the most pointless movie ever made. What in God's name were they thinking? [-X F
