As for the movie, it's Ben Stiller's original Meet the Parents, except not shitty. It doesn't break any new borders with its quirky screwball characters and plot, but it's just... really enjoyable and charming. The screenplay pretty much rocks, and every actor, and I mean every one, is top notch. My favorite was probably Josh Brolin and the Schlichtings, but Stiller, Arquette, Moore, Segal, and even Tea Leoni are all perfect. Russell's hand of creating the lunacy and fun of it all is great too.

Loved it.
