The Ultimate Popcorn-movie! It may be from 1938, but it is more enjoyable and arenaline-driven than any Hollywood-Blockbuster of the last 15 years. This is the definite Robin Hood movie, Errol Flynn own Kevin Costner in every aspect. It rivals Indiana Jones for the best action-adventure ever made. (A+)

Not the greatest Robin Hood movie, but it delivers a rousing adventure and a great story. While dated and not as entertaining as it was most likely in 1938, it is devoid of the current Hollywood over-dramitization and excess. 7.0/10 (B+)

Just exudes goodwill and fun. You could watch this every day and never get tired of it. Beautiful Technicolor, a great cast of character actors like Claude Rains and Eugene Pallette, the screen's best swordfight, that legendary Korngold score...its all in there.

One of my favorite DVDs I own. Very rewatchable. Good dialogue too.

Maid Marion: You speak treason!

Robin Hood: Fluently.
