Quote:
Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993) is a comedic murder mystery film directed by and starring Woody Allen and written by Marshall Brickman and Woody Allen. Although a commercial disappointment, it was a critical success, co-star Angelica Huston won a BAFTA nomination while Diane Keaton won a Golden Globe nomination. The film marks Zach Braff's first film role. It also has a performance by Joy Behar.

Wow, I had completely forgotten about this movie. It was one of my favorites when I was younger and still one of my favorite Woody Allen movies. It's just very entertaining. A-

Take Scoop. Add a handheld camera, Diane Keaton and Alan Alda, and characters and relationships with depth. Mix thoroughly.

For added fun, pretend it's a sequel to Annie Hall!

It's quite a brilliant film, actually.

The movie-house shoot out at the end is absolutely brilliantly shot (and a pun!). Yeah....so everything Yoshue said. Not a masterpiece like Annie Hall or Manhattan (both in my Top 5 of eveyrthing I've seen), but it's a great movie. Oh gee do I miss good Allen.
