Re: American Beauty Well, that's the whole point...he is American. Being American is just a nationality. It's not an ethnicity. If Arnie's not American, neither are you, Chippy. For the true Americans are almost wiped out.
Arnold has an American passport and residence, he's paid more in tax to his US government than you will ever earn in your life, he believes in American ideals, he's served as an American politician, and he doesn't need a visa to remain in the country. He's as American as deep-fried Mars bars.

Re: American Beauty Hmm... American Beauty and Arnold Schwarzenegger are two things I absolutely never picture together.
I just re-watched the movie two weeks ago in a double feature with Fight Club (I guess I was on a 1999 kick), and I still love it just as much as ever.

American Beauty
I've only ever watched parts and/or I was in the house when someone else was watching it. But American Beauty is a special film. It takes a darkly humoristic look at modern day life in suburbia with the emphasis on mid-life crises. Kevin Spacey is just out of this world hilarious and cool. It's the type of film you can put on whenever and enjoy.
