Quote:
Big Momma's House 2 is a 2006 American crime comedy film directed by John Whitesell and written by Don Rhymer. The film is a sequel to Big Momma's House (2000) and stars Martin Lawrence reprising his role as FBI agent Malcolm Turner. The film was released theatrically on 27 January 2006, and was critically panned as critics felt that a sequel was unnecessary. For some time, the film had been placed on IMDB's bottom 100 list, despite its strong showing at the box office, earning nearly $140 million. Unlike the original, the film is more family-friendly compared to the first film's more mature target demographic.

Guess what, guyzzzzz. I saw this.

...and, it's not horrendous.

Oh, who am I kidding? It's a shitty movie. But, it depends on how you view it - if you go to the theatre, ignore plot holes, and chat during the movie with some friends, you'll be satisfied to some extent. If you go expecting what Roger Ebert said, and you try your best not to give in (at least for the first five minutes) to a Martin Lawrence with thighs twice as big as Oprah Winfrey's old ones, yeah, you'll likely come to WoKJ and rant about how the apocalypse must be coming because people didn't damn this movie to Gigli/You Got Served/Catwoman-levels.

There's a couple scenes in the movie that cracked me up, and they aren't all appearance-jokes. What more can you ask for? C-

Hmmm, considering the fact that it is going to make $70+ million at the box-office, not too many people here apparently saw it....

It wasn't as bad as it could have been, though not really good. I loved the original, so yeah, this kinda sucked in comparison, but I didn't expect much either and I got a few laughs.

B-/C+

I came in looking for a good pass of time, with a couple chuckles along the way, and Big Momma's House 2 gave that to me. Yes, it's a bad movie, but it's enjoyable enough for what it is.

I think I'd rank this a bit below Dickie Roberts(B), and a bit above The Pacifier(C+).
